My week so far...

Hello everyone welcome back to my blog. Today I felt like writing a chatty post, because I've really been lacking on blog posts a lately, I know. I've been having some troubles with my laptop, it's so slow and just annoying, also I've been waiting for my iPad to be repaired, which is now repaired yay! Anyway I've honestly been so busy this week so far. I've had quite a bit of work to do with college, and I've got to keep revising with maths, which isn't fun at all! So yeah everything has just got on top of me, and I've really neglected my blog. I've also been trying everywhere for a job handing CV's out everywhere, fingers crossed I get one soon!

Today I've had a really nice chilled day though, I've just sat in and watched rubbish daytime tv haha! I've also been looking after my nanans dog Lou-Lou she is so sweet. She's so funny and really makes me laugh, bless her. Of course I had to take lots of pictures of her for Instagram and Twitter, you will of probably seen the pictures already but im still going to show you again, sorry haha!

So from now on I'm really hoping to get back on track with my blog. I've been writing and planning a few ideas for my blog, and I can't wait to get back to normal with it.

My everyday hair heroes.

Hello everyone welcome back to my blog. A lately I've actually been using more products on my locks than usual, I think its because I have my hair tied up more and want the style to last all day. The picture above is an example of what I have my hair like pretty much everyday, I need simple easy hairstyles because if I'm honest I can't really be bothered with complicated hairdos. These products help me achieve this look, and best of all helps it stay healthy and nourished. So want to find out my hair heroes, then keep reading.  I have to admit I honestly couldn't live without these products, because my hair would just epically fail if I'm honest.

1. This is a staple with a lot of people I know. I used to always try the heavily fragranced dry shampoos, but since I have tried this one I haven't looked back. I love this for giving my hair volume and grip, because I have very slippery hair which makes it hard to get into a bun. This dry shampoo is subtly fragranced. It keeps my hair refreshed, full of volume and tousled, winner all round right?

2- So I said that I also want nourished healthy hair, as well as having voluminous hair. This product is an amazing quick fix. You put a big splodge on your hand and rub through your hair, and ta-dah! nourished hair, also this smells so so good honestly you will agree on that one.

3- Hair spray. This is an essential for keeping my hairdo locked in place. I don't want my hairstyle to look all messy through out the day, but I don't want smelly horrible sticky hairspray. That's why I used fudge urban raspberry and vanilla hairspray, because it smells gorgeous and doesn't feel sticky and horrible. It  brushes easy  and doesn't leave any build up which is a winner for me!

4- Coconut oil. This is perfect for when you have more time to give yourself a pamper. This is perfect to leave on overnight as a mask, then wash off in the morning with shampoo. Then silky nourished hair is revealed hoorah!

What are your hair heroes? let me know in the comments.

My basic Autumn essentials.

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. I am so sorry for the lack of posts a lately, I've really been struggling with the blogging schedule, but I promise I will get back on track with it. Todays post is yet another Autumn themed one, but why not we all love Autumn right? I think Autumn is such a beautiful time of year, and if I could I would write about it all the time. I thought I would share with you my Autumn essentials, so here goes...

First of all is this camel coloured coat. I absolutely love this and the colour is perfect for this time. A lately you see this colour everywhere, and its bang on trend. The best part is I got it for only £25 at primark, total bargain!

I love candles all year round, but when it gets to Autumn I love my vanilla and cinnamon candles. I saw this red berry and jasmine scented candle at primark and it smells beautiful. I love the smell and its only £1. I have lots of Yankee candles, which are a lot more expensive, but I honestly think these are just as good.

I love plum colours at Autumn time, so my nails are no exception to this plum love.
I love plastering my nails in plum perfection, and this Bourjois polish is amazing and quick drying. It literally takes seconds!

I love this lipstick its my staple, I wear it a lot. I received some really nice compliments on this lipstick, and some people were shocked when I told them its collection, and the price is only £2.99!

Hot drinks!
I love costa so much and my addiction has got even worse, seen as there is a costa right near my college. I walk past it every morning and always get a mocha. I love their mochas, because they pretty much taste like hot chocolate but 10 times better. Its so warming and perfect for the cold weather, so I highly recommend.

Ankle boots.

I recently purchased these beautiful ankle boots, from Newlook. I love them I think the detailing is so pretty and cute. Autumn really isn't complete with out some cute ankle boots!

So, that's everything. Let me know what your Autumn essentials are in the comments.

5 reasons why I love autumn.

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today I really wanted to talk about autumn, but make it a sort of fun thing to read. I know you're probably bored of seeing endless pictures of leafs on instagram, and youtube videos of autumn makeup looks, but I cant get enough of them. So, I thought I would tell you 5 reasons why autumn is the best time for me. I hope you non autumn lovers start appreciating as much as me at the end of this!

1-  The fashion:
I love autumn fashion, the beautiful burnt orange colours and camel coloured coats. I love the build up to winter getting all layered up. I really do prefer autumn/ winter fashion rather than summer. Sounds really lame, but I get so excited buying a new winter coat.  I have to admit I always want to buy more and more!

2- Hot drinks:
I love drinking hot chocolate at autumn time. I know most people say pumpkin spiced lattes from Starbucks, but I'm one of those very few people left who hasn't  even tried one yet, I will though I promise.

3-  The colours:
I love the change of colours on the leafs. It really excites me and makes me feel so autumnal. I love all the clothes that are in the high street that represent the autumn colours.

4-  Candles:
I love this time of year for candles. Shops slowly start bringing out cinnamon spiced candles and I just love that scent!

5-  Cosy nights:
I love cosy nights in watching films, indulging in chocolate and wrapping your self in blankets. There really is nothing better than that, seriously you end up having no plans when autumn comes!

New look Autumn wish list

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. Its been a while since I've shared with you my wish list, but since its Autumn my favourite time  of year. I thought I would share with you what I'm lusting after.
New look always stands out to me and I think they really know what they're doing when it comes to high street fashion. I was browsing online and their Autumn/Winter range is incredible, can I please just have everything!.

1. (Buy here) I love these cute boots, Autumn/Winter isn't complete without them. We all dread the snow and ice days I know, but these boots will make those days a lot easier. These boots would look great with black skinny jeans, and a knitwear jumper to keep you cosy.

2. (Buy rust jumper here) This colour just screams Autumn, it reminds me of the beautiful leafs. This colour is everywhere at Autumn time, and when asked what colour relates to Autumn, this burgundy red will spring to mind. This jumper would look great with skinny jeans and a leather jacket.

3. (Buy ripped knee trousers here) Black ripped knee jeans are a classic, they go with anything. I love how you can dress these up or down, with a fancy top and heels for night or a jumper and boots for day.

4. (Buy coat here) The colour really grabbed my attention, this tan colour is everywhere this Autumn/Winter. I love the colour and I have recently purchased a tanned boyfriend style coat, but you can never have too many tanned coats!

5. (Buy tartan scarf here) Tartan scarfs are so big at Autumn/Winter time, they're normally all the same colour being red but this is unique and stands out. I love the yellow detailed colour its so cute, it makes a difference to an ordinary red tartan scarf.

6. (Buy burgundy hat here) I love this burgundy colour, and by now I guess you can tell. Who doesn't love this colour at Autumn/Winter time? Its great to give your plain black hat a lively look with this colour.

7. (Buy pj top here) ''Its a bed hair and pyjamas kind of day.'' I love the saying on this pyjama top, because it really sums up Sunday. I love the navy colour and it will look great, with any pyjamas bottoms you may have.

8. (Buy cardigan here) I love these cardigan type ponchos, they are so cosy and look casual but put together at the same time. I love the tan colour, again another Autumn/Winter iconic colour.

9. (Buy bag here) I love this bag, because the colour will go with any outfit and its big enough to fit everyday things for school, work etc..

What is your favourite item from my wish list? Let me know in the comments.

#Partypolished nail art competition.

Hello everyone welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to be telling you about this fab competition, that really interested me and I think it will you. I received an email from a company called Bonprix telling me about their competition. You have to choose one of six dresses to create a nail look that goes with the outfit. The winner will win a £50 Bonprix voucher, and a selection of Barry M products worth £50. They also said there will be two lucky runners up!

So, I got my nail polish collection out and thought I would give it ago, wouldn't the prize be fab!

If you enter make sure you mention bonprix on Twitter, and use the hashtag party polished in your tweet.

So, because its Autumn I had to get a gorgeous plum shade in!
I love these Bourjois nail polishes, because they are so easy to apply and dry so quick.

A little bit of a nude colour!

A hint of glitter.

So, this is the finished look. I went for a plum and nude combination I think this looks so pretty.

This is the dress I chose to go with the nails. You can never go wrong with a classic black dress.
