What im watching on Netflix

Hello everyone welcome back to my blog. Right im guessing by now everyone has heard of Netlfix, if you haven't you must of been living under a rock. Netflix is great for streaming tv shows and films. I especially love that Netflix gets all the American tv shows, so now I've had Netflix for a couple of months I thought I would round up everything I have watched. I have wrote two posts on my blog on an individual show, but to save time I thought I would list everything I have watched so far. I think these types of posts are great, because you get to know about new shows.

Once upon a time- I wrote a blog post about this show (Here). This tv series is amazing and has 4 seasons on Netflix, which I have now finished. It's about a bunch of fairytale characters trapped in the real world, they are faced with many problems stoping them from returning home.

Unbreakable Kimmy schmidt- (See post here). This is a very stupid dumb comedy, but that's what makes it hilarious. It's about a bunch of girls who were brainwashed into thinking the world ended, and were kept in a bunker for several years. When they finally get freed they have to start life again as an adult. There's only one season available on the Netflix UK website, because it's fairly new I can't wait for more seasons!

The returned-  Now I've only just recently started watching this, so I'm not that far into it yet. This program is about people who have died, but return back home after several years of being dead. These people cannot remember their deaths, and think everything is just normal while their families are stunned with shock.

90210- I love this it reminds me a little bit of hollyoaks (it's a UK tv soap if you're confused). It's quite cringey and cheesy but I just love it. It's a very typical Teenage drama series. It's basically about a family who move from Kansas to Beverly Hills, big change.

Outnumbered- Now Netflix is great for rediscovering old favourite  tv shows. I used to watch this all the time and I still love it. It's about a family with 3 children who are slightly odd, very naughty and just funny.
Every episode is very funny/silly. It's a great family program.

So that's what I have watched, now to show you what I want to watch.

Sense 8- This series shows 8 people who can telepatcically experience each others lives.

House of cards- This tv show is about a congressman who will stop at nothing to conquer Washington D.C. It's an Emmy winning drama.

The originals- The Mikealsons move to New Orleans and form an alliance with local witches.

So have you seen any of these? let me know in the comments what you think.

The story behind my blog.

Hello everyone welcome back to my blog. You have read the title and you know I am going to be writing all about my blog, which may sound a little weird but I thought it would be interesting. I  always like reading peoples full stories behind their blog how they got their name, why they started blogging etc...
So I thought I would share everything with you about my blog starting from the beginning and ending on now, so here goes.

I started my blog in August 2014, so not that long ago almost a year. Starting a blog is something I kept thinking about for a while, well over a year I would say. I actually started a blog before this one, I didn't have it long, it would be a couple of weeks. I deleted the blog in the end, because I thought it was rubbish and I was very hard on my self about it. The main reason I think why I deleted my blog is lack of confidence I was worried about what other people might think. I still get like that a little today but not so much anymore, because I've really developed such a passion for blogging and I think the blogging community is lovely and very supportive.  The months started to go along and slowly I would tell more and more people about my blog, because I became happy and confident with it. Showing people like friends and family really made me feel even more confident, because their opinions were lovely and supportive.

Where did the name Lauren Morgan come from?  Well obviously Lauren  is my name, but Morgan isn't my surname its my middle name. At first I was going to leave my blog anonymous which I did I had no pictures of myself at first. That's why I wanted to put my middle name, because it would be harder for people who know me to find. Now I really think that thought is silly. Why should I keep my blog a secret I should be proud, because its an achievement. I do like my blog name and I intend on keeping it because I think it works well. When I first started this blog I was thinking of a beauty name, but quickly changed my mind because I didn't want to focus just on one topic. I love blogging about beauty and fashion, but I also love blogging about real life events and stuff like that.

My blog today: Today I am at 116 followers on bloglovin, and I am very proud of that. I have had some great opportunities from my blog such as writing for brands, I never would of thought brands would even want to approach and ask me. Its not all about that side of it but that is a bonus. Blogging is about sharing what you love and having somewhere to go and write what ever you like, its also about sharing with new people and discovering new blogs. My blog has changed massively from the beginning and I am now at  a place where I am very happy with it. The longer you have your blog the better it gets, it just keeps on getting better.

If you want to start your own blog but you're hesitant to JUST DO IT!

What do you think to my blog today let me know in the comments

Magazine freebie

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. Today I had to share with you this bargain magazine freebie, because it would be a shame to miss out. This magazine comes with a pack of the organic pharmacy skincare. All these products add up to £13, but you get them for £4, as well as having these beauty products you also get a fab mag to read. I love Elle magazine its one of my favourites, I love reading the articles because all the writers are so talented at what they do and its very enjoyable to read. (enough of me blabbing on ill give you a few details on the products below)

You get a face cream, cleansing gel and a lip balm, also they come in this cute size perfect for traveling or to fit in your handbag.

I love how these products are suitable for all skin types. I love brands that cater for everyone. I did a little bit of research online and saw amazing 5 star reviews on this cleansing gel, the reviews were raving on about this product saying it leaves their skin soft and fresh, also they said its perfect to use in the mornings.

This was the product I immediately tried. I have tried many lip balms and I have always gone back to the baby lips by Maybelline, so i thought i would never find any other lip balm that would live up to that. I have to say as soon as I put this on my lips i noticed an improvement straight away. It smells so good too and its so good it really gives your lips some tlc they deserve, say goodbye to dry cracked lips!

This caught my attention, by stating it gives you radiant glowing skin. That is something everyone wants so I am very eager to try this one out and see for my self.

I am going to give these product a good try and if you want i will write a review on them, explain whether i loved or hated them.

I bet you will be all rushing down to buy this now, let me know what you think in the comments

First ever Graze box review.

Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. Today I really wanted to review the graze box. The box came really quick, the estimated day was correct and arrived in time. When I opened up the box I couldn't wait to gorge myself, but not feel as guilty because its all natural goodness. I can honestly say there is nothing in the box I didn't like, everything was gorgeous and perfectly made. I think the slim box is a great idea because it fits perfectly through your letter box, so no worries if you're out. Down below I will give my opinion on each item.

My box is a variety box this means, graze selects the items that go in your box. There are lots of items to try out that go into the variety box so you never get bored of the same thing!

These had to be my favourite out of all the box, they were so moreish. The chocolate added with the pecan made it delicious, as well as all the other yummy stuff in there. Everything worked so well together and made a beautiful combination. I'm not even ashamed to admit i ate them straight away, they were so nice it just lead to one after another, then they were gone!

My mum had  the lemon flapjack as I'm not much of a lemon fan, but having said that I tried one and it was so good definitely not what I expected. They were so tasty and the lemon was very refreshing, it was a lovely treat.

OMG (sorry for the annoying exaggeration but it really is necessary)
These were an explosion of amazing tastes, the whole tropical fruit together worked amazingly. It just reminded me of being on some sort of tropical holiday on the beach, seriously its so good. I am also not ashamed to admit that I demolished this straight away either, don't judge okay. (ha ha)

Now coming away from the sweet treats, the last snack was these smoky hot dogs. At first I was little unsure about them but I had another try and loved them, the taste is amazing they really taste like a hot dog, but a really good one. It just reminds me of being at a barbecue! the smoky taste really makes these. They are  delicious and like all the snacks very moreish!

In my box I received two £5 gift vouchers to give to friends and family, I think this is such a kind gesture. I love that this company gives free trials, you basically get your first box free and if you like it you can carry it on. I will definitely be getting a box again, I've set my order for every fortnight.

So would you try a Graze box? let me know in the comments

Lauren

I have ditched foundation for this product!

Hello everyone welcome back to my blog. So by the title you know I am introducing you to a new product, that has become a very strong favourite of mine so much that its replaced my foundation. That is the Rimmel BB cream I am in love with this it makes my skin look so glowy and healthy, foundations normally look very cakey and dull on my skin and having tried many other BB creams I gave up on finding the one. Now I have found my new holy grail product I will never turn back on ditching foundation, this is so much better for my skin it has 9 benefits and they are...

1- Primes the skin, good bye using primers!
2- It hydrates your skin, great news for people with dry skin like me!
3- Helps minimise the appearance of pores!

4- Conceals, good bye to redness and spots!
5- Covers, bye-bye blemishes!
6- Smoothes, hello even looking skin!
7- Mattifies, bye-bye to oily skin!
8- Brightens and helps protect with added SPF 25

9- Lasts all day!

Now reading all these statements, for the price they seem too good to be true. I know that you will be thinking that because I certainly did, so I couldn't wait to put it up to the test. I put this on a very hot summers day and I was amazed with the results. I have to admit I was expecting nothing from this, but I was blown away my skin looked amazing ive never seen my skin look so glowy and hydrated. It honestly did everything it promised to do, but I would recommend to add a little concealer if you have an annoying big spot, because remember it is a BB cream not a foundation. This is so lightweight and it feels like my skin unlike many other foundations. I will continue to buy this its my new favourite BB cream and its currently on offer at morrisons for £4.99 what a bargain!

The results, as you can see on this picture my make up looks so natural and that's exactly how I want my makeup to look.
I really think that's how makeup should look, very natural and subtle.

So what do you think of this product, let me know in the comments

Perfect summer print nails by elegant touch.

Hello everyone welcome back to my blog. The weather in the UK has been really hot so I thought I would keep my blog post summer themed, if you follow me on instagram you will have seen that I won a competition elegant touch hosted. I won all these amazing nails many of them beautifully summer themed, also I have lots of fudge urban hair products I feel very lucky I have never won anything in my life, but now I have.

The first set are called club Tropicana, these nails are so beautiful with the flamingo print. This print is gorgeous and I love flamingos I remember one time I was actually going to get flamingo wallpaper!
These nails are so easy to apply and the glue is amazing, its very strong and avoids nails falling off all over (which we really don't want right?)

It isn't summer without seeing pineapple print am I right? These nails are so tropical and beautiful they remind me of a Caribbean holiday. I love these they are very bold and definitely a statement nail. You don't need to spend a fortune going to a nail salon when these are so easy and affordable, and if you ask me they are just as good!

These nails have to be my favourite, palm tree print screams summer holidays. When I look at these I just think of Hollywood Or  the Coachella festival. These are so chic and the name 'welcome to Miami' just draws you to them. Come on though who wouldn't want a holiday in Miami, well if you cant get to Miami bring Miami to you with these nails!

These nails are great for holidays, they will look great day and night. I love the coral pink colour and the green feathered colour they really work well together. The thing I love the most about these nails is that they are very natural looking and you can still do normal day to day things, its annoying when you have really long nails and you cant pick anything up. Don't worry you want get that with these.

Which are you favourite nails, let me know in the comments

Lauren

Weight is just a number!

                                                       (Picture from google images)

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. As you can tell by the title today is a very heavily discussed topic in the media and well everywhere. I hate how magazines portray women to be perfect goddesses, funny thing is those pictures have been airbrushed like crazy. I hate the expectations the media has put on us girls, I hate how they are quotes such as "the perfect size 10" there is no such thing as the perfect size we are all different and unique. We all has humans come in all shapes and sizes some small some tall and so on, but why should we brand people offensive names because of their weight it's wrong and if I could put a stop to it overnight I would. As a society, we all are very judgemental and you could be reading this right now and thinking, me judgemental no way. The truth is you will of looked in a magazine at a certain person and said well they don't look that great, or woah they have piled the weight on. These people have feelings they are normal human beings you don't have to live life pleasing people with your weight, because if people don't like you for who you are then they aren't worth speaking to. Be yourself you are original who wants to be another copy of somebody else we all want to be original in our own way.

Every person at some part of their life has had times where they feel down about their appearance, it's so sad that people compare their selfs to everyone.  I have to admit it's something I do myself and it's a habit that's very hard to break free from. In the past I had my own issues with my body image I was never happy with how I looked, I just thought no matter what I was fat and that was that. I had to slowly but surely build my confidence up in myself and face these issues with my weight and find out where they all come from. They mainly come from being at junior school and being a little chubby, all my friends were considered "skinny" and I hate that word. But I wasn't overweight I was healthy.  As I started to grow up I noticed I didn't look like my friends, but people constantly assured me I was fine but I didn't listen and still considered myself "fat". I wasn't fat I was healthy for my height and age, now I know but at the time it was an issue. But I've learned through the years to suppress that feeling and be happy in my own skin. Once you start feeling happier in your skin that's when everything will look up. I wish people would just stop looking at supermodels in magazines, and constantly wishing to look like them and just be happy. So what you have a few spots we all get them in life, so what you have freckles don't cover them with makeup embrace them, so what you have scars or imperfections they make you who you are. All these flaws make us who we are today, think about it though realistically you could talk to a celebrity and they would tell you that they have some sort of imperfection, nobody is perfect and the sooner we realise that the better. I hope you enjoyed reading this, and you are all amazing in your own way it's good to have imperfections.

How to make the most of summer.

Hello everyone welcome back to my blog, today I thought I would talk about making the most of your summer. As I am typing this its currently 30 degrees outside, which is great so I thought I would come up with a blog post about making the most of summer, because you don't have to go abroad to make the most of it.

Meeting up with friends: This has to be one of my favourite things, its great to meet up with friends especially when the weather is gorgeous outside. You don't have to worry about the money you could go somewhere nice like a local park and have a picnic. Having a picnic in the park in the sun is the loveliest thing time goes by so quick and you feel so relaxed.

relax in your garden:  You don't have to leave your house to get the most of the sun, you can have a great time in your back garden. You could invite friends and family around get some music playing, and maybe get  a barbeque going.

Find some local fun places: It could be an outdoor swimming pool, a popular park or a local fair that has come to town.
I live in Sheffield and they are some great places to go to! many of them being free, when its warm I like to go to a place called the peace gardens. It has lovely water fountain features and a great atmosphere to it in the warm weather.

This picture was taken at Scarborough a place I really love visiting in the summer time, I love walking on the sea front and treating my self to some good fish and chips, also I love spending endless amounts of change in the slot machines.
I think its great to arrange day trips in the summer time with friends and family.

I hope you all have an amazing summer and let me know what your getting up to in the comments
Love,
Lauren
